The American Presidency is part of a unique heritage that is yours to explore. Originally opened in 1991, the newly renovated Museum experience, which opened in February of 2011, integrates hundreds of artifacts, over 50% never before seen, and dozens of interactive displays. From Air Force One to historic photos and video to interactive games, the Reagan Library is one of the most unique destinations in Southern California. At the Library, visitors act in a movie with Ronald Reagan using green screen technology, deliver the Presidential Inauguration speech on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, climb on a horse at Rancho del Cielo, plan a State Dinner, walk onboard the actual Air Force One that served seven U.S. presidents, and so much more. While at the Library, don't forget to also visit the full scale replica of the Oval Office, a real piece of the Berlin Wall, and President Reagan's Memorial Site. The Reagan Library is easily accessible from the 101, 118, 405, 23 and 5 freeways. Simply exit Madera South from the 118 or Olsen Road from the 23 and follow the signs to the Library.
